Turns out the little tournament was a nice little distraction from everything else going on. And it looks like they even knew their next opponent as the trio went to find them. once spotted Salem would try to fly and sneak up behind Eris to cover her eyes in a little 'guess who' game[break][break]

"Matches going well?" razz would question rather than do a greeting because social skills still suffered. Beside him Ra jumping from foot to foot to get warmed up.

Salem over plays when he is 'captured in darkness ' over acting in the 'Oh no I shall never see again! I'm blind I'm blind!' kind of fashion as he giggles as he would attempt to bop the Pokemon blinding him.[break][break]

Razz is just amused, "Well the base no longer needs as much attention and events like this are good for training," he offers back as Ra gets ahead of himself and shakes Eris before guesturing toward the battle field he runs to. [Break][break]

Once she would call out her pokemon he would let the young girl and partner have the first strike as he would be ready to attempt a COUNTER.[BREAK][BREAK]

"Let them," Razz encourages knowing during the war there were people who saw him as just 'some kid' a thought that they would regret, and Eris could do the very same. Though probably less violent that what his battles ended up in, "Let them think you're just some kid this way when their guard is down because they didn't take you seriously they can regret it," he offers as he gives a whistle to Riolu who decided to take action. [break][break]

using QUICK ATTACK they would try to kick the wooper into the air before jumping up to try and FORCE PALM them down. Ra wanting to help show that neither he nor Razz would under estimate Eris for her age. [break][break]

Unlike Salem who is just playing around with Ralts like a child.

And only made stronger by the nature of their bond. As they both feed off each other's determination, Pips already knows what's up, having been beaten up by a Froakie not too long ago. But this time, he's ready to meet it with a Power Up Punch of his own.[break][break]

At the poking attempts Salem would fall to the floor and slightly on top the 'Ralts' in a small attempt to pin them. If they were to suceed they would attempt to roll over and try to tickle the other psychic pokemon. Telling them to 'cry uncle!' Razz just blinks over at the two deciding it would be best to ignore the two of them, as they were having fun for now. [break][break]

Razz gives a small chuckle at her tale, "See pretty satisfying to kick their butts right?" he jokes hoping to bring up the other's spirits while Ra takes the punch, intending to COUNTER after.

Unlike Pips, who is far more invested in beating Ra with his own set of skills. When the Riolu attempts to punch back, he's already ducking his head down. And as he simultaneously slams his tail against the ground, Frenzied Plants erupt and lash out at Ra.[break][break]

At the sudden disappearance of the Ralts throws Salem off for a moment before the weight is dropped on him making him fall over. Aftewr he just playfully complains that Mesprit was a cheater. [break][break]

The FRENZY PLANT definitely catches him off guard. The plants quick to knock him up in the air and even Razz gives a 'huh' in some surprise as he wasn't really expecting others who have been warped to be here. Yet some people were going in with several strong pokemon while Ra was still on the learning curve of things. [break][break]

A flip in the air Ra does get a chance to recover as he slams his paw on the ground to use COPYCAT against the Frenzy Plant.

Eris and Pips, on the other hand, are fighting to close this match. With Ra daring to copy such a powerful move, she imagines that he isn't prepared for the recoil to hit.[break][break]

"Now's our chance!"[break][break]

Gritting his teeth, Pips pushes through the numbing sensation of his body, rushing towards the Riolu. And with his head tilted back, he swings it back with all his might, aiming for Ra's forehead to knock him out.[break][break]

With the mesprit so close Salem will use the closeness to just poke back at her cheeks stretching their cheeks like some aunt to their niece. Finally the two's squabbling catching Razz's attention to not be focused on the battle, "Oi," he warns the two of them as he feels like if they were to go unchecked that they might end up causing actual trouble round them. [break][break]

It does indeed leave Ra on his own for a bit, the FRENZY PLANT indeed making him tired as he felt he couldn't move, leaving him open for the headbutt which took the last bit of his 'HP' and knocking him back. The glasses informing that they had last too which Razz gave an amused huff. [break][break]

"Good work!" he offers with a tad more emotion that what he usually showed off as he went to pick up Ra to ensure he was alright. "Told you you didn't need to care about your age"
